Lord our God,
We thank you for allowing us to experience your power. We thank you that we need not be occupied with material things only. We thank you that your Spirit comes to our aid again and again. Grant that we may continue to have your help, and let many hearts find what a grace it is that in spirit we may walk in heaven even during this transitory life with all its foolish ways. We may say with complete assurance that everything tormenting and burdening will pass by. It passes by, and we go joyfully and confidently toward your kingdom, which continually gains in power.

Dear Lord,
You have brought me to this new day again. It is an opportunity from you for me to get the best of today. I thank you for yesterday, you did well and I am trusting you for a better day today. Lord, I want to thank you for your love. I want to thank you because your love never ends. I depend on your word and your word alone Lord, I want to grow in the word and never stop growing. Lord, I know that growing in your word attracts so many blessings and brings one closer to you. I desire these Lord therefore I request for your help to continue in your word so that I will grow. Your word also brings great ideas. Let your word give me great ideas that will change my life forever.

May 29 Prayer 3

Lord,
Your Word teaches me to “clothe myself with humility.” Help me remember the humility Jesus showed as he endured the cross. Philippians 2:8 says, “he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” Forgive me for thinking of myself as deserving recognition, and help me live under Jesus’ example of true humility. I will put others first today, Lord. I pray that the people in my life will see the light of Jesus shine through.
