For most people Saturday morning is also the one morning without an alarm. These prayers are for both: rest, family, and a day given to God without hurry.
Historical Context
Saturday is also the Jewish Sabbath, the day God rested after creation. Christians moved their day of worship to Sunday, the day of the Resurrection, but Saturday kept something of the Sabbath about it: a day to stop, recover and be with the people you love.

Lord, thank you for a slower morning.
Thank you for the week behind me, all of it.
Give me rest today, real rest,
and time with the people I love.

Holy Mary, on the first Holy Saturday you waited without seeing.
Teach me to wait like you, trusting when nothing makes sense yet.
