Please read the prayers below which will provide guidance for Lawyer’s Prayer. May God Bless You!
Lawyer’s Prayer 1
I offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day in union with the holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world.
I offer them for all the intentions of your Son’s Sacred Heart, for the salvation of souls, reparation for sin, and the reunion of Christians.
Lawyer’s Prayer 2
God of justice and compassion,
You have written your law in our hearts.
Let Your Spirit be my counsel and guide
In the practice of my legal profession.
Let me never compromise the truth
But uphold it at all times.
May I seek only your will in all my dealings
With people especially with my clients.
Grant me Your wisdom
So that I may be wise in my decision and actions.
Let me cooperate in the building up of your kingdom on earth
Through my profession.
All these I pray
In the name of Your Son Jesus, our Lord.
Lawyer’s Prayer 3
Our Ultimate Truth and Supreme Law, we humbly offer our day to You.
May every word we say today speak the truth, and every action we take serve the law. Make us able counsels to Your clients, worthy officers of the courts, and loyal servants of Your Justice. Measure our day not by our failures or successes but by our faithfulness to Your Will. And may each day of doing Your Will bring us closer to Your Kingdom of righteousness, justice and love. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Lawyer’s Prayer 4
Please accept my soul’s offering to do Your Will, and, on such prayer,
Bless me with Your Spirit’s strength, wisdom and understanding to – provide superior legal services to my clients and resolve their cases successfully, and persevere through all obstacles encountered on the chosen path of justice. Fill me with Your Spirit to – in resolving all case uncertainties that may arise, and overcome by preparation and advocacy all challenges encountered in my clients’ cases.
Shine Your Spirit into me so that I may share such Blessings to – honor You as a lawyer in my professional and ethical conduct with all, and to practice law with such beliefs and acts that someday will make my soul worthy of Heaven. Through You, I pray for all those involved throughout the legal system, including my client, judges and adversaries, those in need, and also for myself.
