Daily Devotional – Psalms 14:4 – July 30, 2026

“Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge,
who eat up my people as they eat bread,
and don’t call on Yahweh?” – Psalms 14:4

When I read this verse, I envision a world where the innocent are preyed upon, their trust betrayed by those who should protect them.

Psalms 14:4 highlights the alarming reality of those who act without regard for God, consuming the vulnerable while neglecting to seek His guidance. It serves as a reminder for us to remain vigilant against the injustices in our midst and to ensure that we are not complicit in silence. As Christians, we can apply this by standing firm in our faith, advocating for the marginalized, and calling upon the Lord for strength and wisdom to confront iniquity in our communities.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, grant me the discernment to recognize injustice and the courage to stand up for those who cannot defend themselves. Help me to always seek Your guidance and to be a light in the darkness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
