“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” – Hebrews 11:1
When I read this verse, I imagine a climber scaling a mountain, confident in their steps despite not seeing the summit. Faith gives us the assurance and confidence to trust in God’s promises, even when we cannot see them.
Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This faith allows us to trust in God’s promises and His plan for our lives, even when the path is unclear.
As Christians, we are called to live by faith, trusting in God’s promises and His plan for us. This faith gives us the confidence to move forward, knowing that God is with us every step of the way.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, Thank You for the gift of faith. Help us to trust in Your promises and to have confidence in what we hope for. Strengthen our faith and give us the assurance to follow Your plan, even when we cannot see the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
