“God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.” – Genesis 1:7
When I read this verse, I imagine the vastness of creation and the careful order that God established from the very beginning.
Genesis 1:7 reminds us of God’s sovereignty and the intentionality behind His creations. He separated the waters, creating a space for life to flourish, illustrating that He brings order from chaos. As Christians, we can trust that God is still at work in our lives, creating order amidst our personal storms and challenges. We can embrace His power to divide the chaos in our lives and create a sanctuary of peace.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for the order and beauty You bring to our lives. Help us to trust in Your divine plan and to seek Your peace in times of uncertainty. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
