Daily Devotional – 2 Chronicles 6:3 – May 17, 2026

“The king turned his face, and blessed all the assembly of Israel: and all the assembly of Israel stood.” – 2 Chronicles 6:3

When I read this verse, I envision King Solomon standing before a vast assembly, his face radiating authority and blessing as he acknowledges the people of Israel.

**2 Chronicles 6:3** The scene captures a moment of unity and reverence as the king turns to bless the people who have gathered in faith. This act serves as a reminder of the importance of leadership that seeks to uplift and inspire others, reflecting God’s love and grace. As Christians, we can apply this by being mindful of how we interact with those around us, striving to bless others with our words and actions, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and support within our communities.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, help me to be a source of blessing to those I encounter, reflecting Your love and grace in my interactions. May my words uplift and inspire others, just as King Solomon did for the people of Israel. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
