““The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands shall also finish it; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.” – Zechariah 4:9
When I read this verse, I envision the hands of a master builder meticulously crafting a structure, each movement purposeful and filled with promise.
Zechariah 4:9 reminds us of the importance of both beginnings and endings in God’s work. Just as Zerubbabel laid the foundation and was assured that he would also complete the task, we too can trust that God equips us to finish what He has called us to do. This verse encourages us to recognize that our efforts are part of a divine plan and that God is with us every step of the way.
