“Behold, he travails with iniquity.

When I read this verse, I envision the heavy burden of sin that weighs upon those who choose to dwell in darkness.
Psalm 7:14 reminds us that the consequences of our choices can lead us down a path of deceit and harm, not only to ourselves but to others as well. It serves as a warning to examine our hearts and intentions, as what we conceive can manifest in our actions. As Christians, we are called to seek purity in our thoughts and deeds, actively choosing truth and righteousness over falsehood and mischief.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help me to recognize the thoughts and intentions of my heart, steering me away from paths of deceit. May I seek Your truth in all I do, reflecting Your light in a world often shrouded in darkness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
