Daily Devotional – Numbers 4:23 – January 24, 2026

“you shall count them from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old; all who enter in to wait on the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.” – Numbers 4:23

When I read this verse, I envision a community of dedicated individuals preparing to serve in a sacred space, each one ready to contribute their unique gifts to the collective purpose of worship.

**Numbers 4:23** reminds us of the importance of service and the specific calling that comes with maturity and experience. Just as the Levites were chosen to serve in the Tent of Meeting based on their age, we too are called to embrace our unique roles in the body of Christ as we grow in faith and wisdom. This call encourages us to recognize that our service is not limited by age but is enriched by our life experiences and spiritual maturity.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, help me to embrace my calling and to serve You with the wisdom and strength gained through my life experiences. May I be a faithful servant in Your kingdom, ready to contribute to Your work. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
