“With him they crucified two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left.” – Mark 15:27
When I read this verse, I am reminded of the stark contrast between the two criminals crucified alongside Jesus – one mocking Him, the other recognizing His innocence and seeking His mercy.
Mark 15:27 reminds us of the choices we make in life and the ultimate consequences they carry. Just as the two robbers made different decisions, we are faced with daily choices that lead either towards God or away from Him. We are called to reflect on our actions and align them with God’s will, choosing to follow Christ’s example of love and grace.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help us to make choices that honor You and reflect Your love in all we do. Guide us in our daily decisions so that we may walk in the path of righteousness and show mercy to others as You have shown mercy to us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
