Daily Devotional – Mark 14:55 – September 06, 2024

“Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witnesses against Jesus to put him to death, and found none.” – Mark 14:55

When I read this verse, I am reminded of the unjust treatment Jesus faced during His trial, where false witnesses were sought to condemn Him.

Mark 14:55 reminds us of the importance of standing firm in our faith even when facing false accusations and opposition. As Christians, we should trust in God’s sovereignty and remain steadfast in our beliefs, knowing that He will ultimately vindicate us.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, help us to trust in Your perfect timing and justice, even in the face of false accusations or opposition. Give us the strength to stand firm in our faith and rely on Your guidance. Amen.
