“Haven’t you even read this Scripture:
‘The stone which the builders rejected,
the same was made the head of the corner.” – Mark 12:10
When I read this verse, I envision a grand structure being built, where the most crucial stone is overlooked by the builders.
Mark 12:10 reminds us that what is often dismissed or rejected can hold the greatest significance. Jesus, the cornerstone of our faith, was rejected by many, yet He became the foundation for our salvation. As Christians, we are called to recognize the value in those whom the world might overlook and to seek the wisdom that often comes from unexpected places.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help us to see the worth in everyone around us and to value the lessons you teach us through unlikely means. May we always choose to build our lives upon the cornerstone of Your truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
