“The word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,” – Jeremiah 7:1
When I read this verse, I am reminded of the intimate connection between God and His chosen messengers, like Jeremiah, who faithfully received and proclaimed His word.
Jeremiah 7:1 highlights the importance of being attentive to the word of God and being willing vessels for His messages. As Christians, we can apply this by cultivating a listening heart, being open to receiving God’s word through prayer, Bible study, and seeking His guidance in our daily lives. Just as Jeremiah listened to God’s voice, we too can be instruments of His truth and love in the world.

Dear Lord, help us to be attentive to Your voice and receptive to Your word. May we faithfully follow Your guidance and boldly proclaim Your truth to those around us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
