“Lift up your eyes,
and see those who come from the north.
Where is the flock that was given to you,
your beautiful flock?” – Jeremiah 13:20
When I read this verse, I envision a shepherd standing on a hill, gazing into the distance, waiting for the return of his flock that has wandered away.

The imagery of lifting our eyes to see those who come from afar serves as a reminder of our responsibility to look out for those who are lost and in need of guidance. As Christians, we are called to recognize our beautiful flock—the people we love, the community we serve, and even those who have strayed from faith. It encourages us to actively seek and support one another, fostering a spirit of unity and compassion.
