Daily Devotional – Jeremiah 11:23 – January 29, 2025

“There will be no remnant to them, for I will bring evil on the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation.’”” – Jeremiah 11:23

When I read this verse, I am struck by the seriousness of God’s judgment and the reality that our choices have consequences.

Jeremiah 11:23 reminds us that there comes a time of reckoning, and for those who consistently reject God, there may be no hope left for redemption. It calls us to reflect on our own lives and the choices we make—whether we are living in alignment with God’s will or drifting away from it. As Christians, we can apply this verse by examining our hearts and ensuring we are not taking God’s grace for granted, but instead choosing to live in obedience and faithfulness to His word.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, help me to recognize the importance of my choices and to live in a way that honors You. May I always seek Your guidance and remain steadfast in my faith. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
