Daily Devotional – James 1:5 – June 17, 2024

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” – James 1:5

When I read this verse, I think of a student seeking knowledge from a wise teacher. God, as our ultimate source of wisdom, offers it generously to those who ask.

James 1:5 assures us that if we seek wisdom, God will provide it. He gives generously and without judgment. This promise encourages us to turn to God for guidance in all areas of our lives.

As Christians, we can trust that God will provide the wisdom we need. By asking Him for guidance, we open ourselves to His generous provision and direction.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, Thank You for Your promise to give us wisdom. Help us to seek Your guidance in all we do and to trust in Your generous provision. Grant us the wisdom we need to navigate life’s challenges. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
