“The waters rose very high on the earth. All the high mountains that were under the whole sky were covered.” – Genesis 7:19
When I read this verse, I picture the overwhelming power of God as the waters rise, enveloping everything in their path.
**Genesis 7:19** reminds us of God’s sovereignty and the seriousness of His judgment during Noah’s time. The flood represented both destruction and a fresh start, demonstrating that God can cleanse the earth and begin anew. As Christians, we can apply this lesson by recognizing that God may lead us through times of trial to prepare us for renewal and growth in our spiritual lives.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for Your power and the promise of new beginnings through You. Help us to trust in Your plans, even when we face overwhelming challenges. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
