“God saw the earth, and saw that it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.” – Genesis 6:12
When I read this verse, I am reminded of God’s perfect holiness and how easily humanity can stray from His ways.
Genesis 6:12 highlights the depth of human sinfulness and the consequences of turning away from God. As Christians, we can apply this verse by constantly examining our hearts and actions, seeking repentance and renewal in Christ, and striving to live in obedience to God’s Word.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help us to see the areas in our lives where we have strayed from Your ways. Grant us the strength to turn back to You, seeking forgiveness and restoration. May we walk in Your righteousness and live according to Your will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
