“that I may reveal it as I ought to speak.” – Colossians 4:4
When I read this verse, I envision a skilled artist preparing to unveil a masterpiece to the world; each brushstroke has been carefully crafted, and the moment of revelation is both thrilling and solemn.
Colossians 4:4 reminds us of the importance of speaking the truth of the gospel with clarity and purpose. Just as Paul sought to communicate the message of Christ effectively, we too are called to articulate our faith in a way that reflects His love and grace. Christians can apply this by being intentional in their conversations, ensuring that their words uplift, encourage, and point others to Christ, recognizing that every interaction is an opportunity to share the hope we have in Him.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help me to speak your truth with wisdom and clarity, that I may reveal your love to those around me. May my words be a reflection of your grace and a source of encouragement to others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
