“Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord.” – Colossians 3:20
When I read this verse, I am reminded of the importance of honoring and respecting our parents as a way to honor and please the Lord.
Colossians 3:20 reminds us that as Christians, we are called to obey our parents in all things. This means showing them respect, listening to their guidance, and following their instructions with a willing and humble heart. By doing so, we not only honor our parents but also please God.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help us to honor and obey our parents as an expression of our love and reverence for You. Give us the strength and humility to follow their guidance and instructions with a joyful heart. May our actions be pleasing in Your sight. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
