“For Yahweh says to the house of Israel:
“Seek me, and you will live;” – Amos 5:4
When I read this verse, I envision a loving father calling his children to come closer, promising them life and fulfillment in his presence.
Amos 5:4 reminds us that God desires an intimate relationship with us, urging us to seek Him as the source of true life. In a world filled with distractions and false promises, we are called to prioritize our relationship with God, actively seeking Him through prayer, worship, and the study of His Word. When we make it a habit to seek Him daily, we find purpose, peace, and the abundant life He offers.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help me to seek You with all my heart and to recognize that true life is found in Your presence. May I draw near to You each day and find my fulfillment in You alone. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
