“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
When I read this verse, I think of a roaring fire, symbolizing the power, love, and self-discipline that the Holy Spirit provides. This fire empowers us to live boldly for God.
2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us that God has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline. We are not called to be timid but to live with courage and strength, fueled by the Holy Spirit.
As Christians, we can rely on the Holy Spirit to empower us. His presence in our lives gives us the strength and discipline to fulfill God’s purpose boldly and lovingly.

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the Spirit You have given us, a Spirit of power, love, and self-discipline. Help us to live boldly and courageously for You, guided by the Holy Spirit. Empower us to fulfill Your purpose in our lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
