“Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to him, we ask you” – 2 Thessalonians 2:1
When I read this verse, I am reminded of the hope and anticipation that fills our hearts as we await the glorious return of Jesus.
**2 Thessalonians 2:1** speaks to the expectation of Christ’s coming and the unity of believers as we gather with Him. This verse encourages us to remain steadfast in our faith and to look forward to that day when we will be united with our Savior and each other. As Christians, we can apply this by fostering a sense of community within the body of Christ, encouraging one another in faith, and living in a way that reflects our hope in His return.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for the promise of Your return and the hope we have in gathering with You and our fellow believers. Help us to live in anticipation and to strengthen our bonds with one another as we await that glorious day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
