“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9
When I read this verse, I think of a vine entwining a trellis, supported and strengthened by it. In our weakness, God’s grace is our support and strength.
2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us that God’s grace is sufficient for us, and His power is perfected in our weaknesses. Embracing our weaknesses allows Christ’s power to rest upon us, making us stronger in Him.
As Christians, we can find strength in our weaknesses, knowing that God’s grace is more than enough. His power sustains us, and His grace empowers us to overcome our struggles.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your grace that is sufficient for us. Help us to embrace our weaknesses and to rely on Your strength. Let Christ’s power rest upon us and make us strong in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
