Daily Devotional – 2 Chronicles 3:15 – September 05, 2024

“Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty-five cubits height, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.” – 2 Chronicles 3:15

When I read this verse, I am reminded of the grandeur and attention to detail that was put into the construction of the temple. The pillars, towering at thirty-five cubits high with exquisite capitals, symbolize strength, stability, and the importance of giving our best to God.

2 Chronicles 3:15 reflects the excellence and craftsmanship that was dedicated to the service of God. As Christians, we can apply this by striving for excellence in all areas of our lives, whether it be in our work, relationships, or ministry. Just as the pillars were a prominent feature of the temple, let our lives stand tall as a testimony to God’s glory and grace.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, help us to build our lives on the firm foundation of Your Word and Your love. May we strive for excellence in all that we do, giving our best to You as an offering of worship. Guide us to stand firm and tall, reflecting Your strength and grace to the world. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
