“Solomon spoke to all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, to the judges, and to every prince in all Israel, the heads of the fathers’ households.” – 2 Chronicles 1:2
When I read this verse, I picture King Solomon standing before a diverse assembly of leaders, each one significant in their own right, ready to receive wisdom and guidance.
2 Chronicles 1:2 reminds us of the importance of unity and communication among leaders in the community of faith. Solomon’s call to various leaders highlights the need for collaboration and shared purpose in serving God’s people. As Christians, we can apply this by seeking to engage with those around us—whether in our families, churches, or workplaces—encouraging dialogue and unity as we work towards a common goal of glorifying God.

Dear Lord, help us to communicate openly and work together with those around us in a spirit of unity. May we inspire and support one another in our shared mission to serve You and spread Your love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
