“He said to them, “Yahweh is witness against you, and his anointed is witness today, that you have not found anything in my hand.”

When I read this verse, I am reminded of the importance of living a life of integrity and transparency before God and others.
1 Samuel 12:5 highlights Samuel’s declaration of innocence before the people, emphasizing the role of God as the ultimate witness. As Christians, we are called to walk in honesty and righteousness, knowing that God sees all and will be our ultimate witness.
May we strive to live our lives in a way that reflects the truth and integrity found in God. Let us be mindful of our actions and words, knowing that we are accountable to Him who sees all things.

Dear Lord, help us to live with integrity and transparency before you and others. May our words and actions be a reflection of your truth and righteousness. Guide us in all we do, knowing that you are our ultimate witness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
