“Which things also we speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.” – 1 Corinthians 2:13
When I read this verse, I am reminded of the importance of seeking wisdom from the Holy Spirit rather than relying solely on human understanding.
1 Corinthians 2:13 encourages us to listen to the teachings of the Holy Spirit who reveals spiritual truths to us. As Christians, we can apply this verse in our lives by spending time in prayer and studying the Word of God, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us in understanding spiritual matters and discerning the truth.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, may we be open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our lives as we seek to understand spiritual truths. Help us to rely on Your wisdom rather than our own understanding. Lead us in the path of righteousness and grant us discernment in all things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
