“for man wasn’t created for the woman, but woman for the man.” – 1 Corinthians 11:9
When I read this verse, I think of the intricate design of relationships and the unique roles that God has established for men and women.
1 Corinthians 11:9 reminds us that God’s intention in creation reflects a divine order, where man and woman complement each other in their roles. This verse invites us to understand that while each has unique responsibilities, we are ultimately designed for partnership and support in fulfilling God’s purpose. As Christians, we can apply this by embracing the strength that comes from our complementary differences, fostering respect and love in our relationships, and seeking to uplift one another in our spiritual journeys.

Dear Lord, thank You for the beautiful design of relationships that You have created. Help us to appreciate and honor the roles You have given us, and guide us in our interactions with one another. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
