“I rejoice greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, even as we have been commanded by the Father.” – 2 John 1:4
When I read this verse, I envision a joyful parent seeing their child thrive and grow in the right path, filled with love and truth.
2 John 1:4 reminds us of the deep joy that comes from witnessing others—especially those we care about—living out the truths of the Gospel. Just as the apostle John rejoiced in seeing children walking in truth, we too should celebrate and support those around us who uphold God’s commandments. We can apply this by intentionally encouraging our friends and family in their faith journeys and seeking to embody truth in our own lives as a testament to God’s love.

Dear Lord, thank You for the gift of truth and for those who walk in it. Help me to be a source of encouragement and support to others, reflecting Your love in my actions. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
