“and wherever he enters in, tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’” – Mark 14:14
When I read this verse, I imagine the quiet anticipation as the disciples follow Jesus’ instructions, preparing for a significant moment in history.
Mark 14:14 reminds us of the importance of preparation and obedience in our spiritual journey. Just as the disciples were tasked with finding a place for the Passover, we too are called to seek out spaces in our lives where we can encounter God. This involves being attentive to His guidance and making room for Him in our hearts amidst our busy lives.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help me to be attentive to Your voice and to prepare my heart for the moments You wish to share with me. May I always seek to create space for You in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
