“We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.” – 2 Thessalonians 3:4
When I read this verse, I imagine a loving mentor encouraging a group of dedicated followers, instilling in them a sense of hope and trust in their journey of faith.
**2 Thessalonians 3:4** reminds us of the confidence we can have in the Lord regarding our spiritual growth and obedience. The Apostle Paul expresses trust that the Thessalonians will not only follow his teachings but will continue to grow in their faith. As Christians, we can take comfort in knowing that God equips us to fulfill His commands and empowers us to persevere in our walk with Him.
We can apply this verse in our lives by cultivating a trust in God’s guidance and remaining open to His commands. Let us actively seek to live out our faith, encouraging others in their walk and confidently stepping forward in obedience to God’s will, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He started in us.
