“They came again to Jerusalem, and as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders came to him,” – Mark 11:27
When I read this verse, I imagine Jesus confidently walking through the temple, surrounded by those in authority, yet unwavering in His mission and purpose.
Mark 11:27 reminds us of the tension between Jesus and the religious leaders of His time. Their questioning reflects the challenges faced by those who stand for truth in a world often resistant to it. As Christians, we can apply this by being courageous in our faith, willing to engage with difficult questions and stand firm in our beliefs, even when confronted by opposition or doubt.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, grant me the strength to stand firm in my faith and to engage with the challenges I face with wisdom and grace. May I reflect Your truth in all my interactions. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
