Daily Devotional – 1 Corinthians 4:12 – February 24, 2025

“We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.” – 1 Corinthians 4:12

When I read this verse, I imagine a hardworking farmer toiling in the fields, facing storms and drought, yet continuing to sow seeds with faith and perseverance.

1 Corinthians 4:12 reminds us that our labor is not in vain, even when faced with adversity and negativity from others. Instead of responding to curses with anger or retaliation, we are called to bless and endure, reflecting Christ’s love and grace in our actions. This attitude transforms our struggles into opportunities for growth and witness to those around us.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, help me to respond to challenges with grace and to bless those who oppose me. May I endure in my work, trusting in Your strength and purpose. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
