“gave his offering:
one silver platter, the weight of which was one hundred thirty shekels,
one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a meal offering;” – Numbers 7:31
When I read this verse, I imagine a faithful servant bringing their best offerings to the altar, a tangible expression of gratitude and devotion. Numbers 7:31 illustrates the meticulous care and intentionality behind the offerings given to God, highlighting the significance of presenting our best in worship. Just as these offerings were prepared with precision, Christians are called to offer their lives and resources to God wholeheartedly. By dedicating our time, talents, and treasures to His work, we can show our commitment to His purpose.
