“God said, “Let the earth yield grass, herbs yielding seeds, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with their seeds in it, on the earth”; and it was so.” – Genesis 1:11
When I read this verse, I envision a vibrant earth bursting forth with life—fields of green, trees laden with fruit, and life teeming everywhere.
Genesis 1:11 reminds us of God’s creative power and His intentional design for the world. He created a flourishing ecosystem where each plant and tree bears fruit according to its kind, reflecting His order and purpose. As Christians, we are called to cultivate our lives similarly, bearing good fruit through our actions and choices, nurturing the gifts and seeds of potential that God has placed within us.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for the beauty and order of Your creation that reflects Your character. Help me to cultivate my life in a way that bears good fruit for Your kingdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
